Celebrities With Bipolar Depression - Leading A Normal Life…

Many famous people are believed to having or have had bipolar or maniac depression. Their works have been great indicators at many times. In fact, it is one of the great identifications of such people. The works of many famous people have helped doctors in identifying the problem of depression in many of these personalities.

Of all the famous people who are believed to have had bipolar depression, writers are the most common. Mark Twain is a great example of one such person. Though his works were master pieces, many times his pessimism and depressed state have been very obvious. He also had many atrocious ideas which never really worked out in his lifetime.

Two other famous writers who have had bipolar depression are Kurt Vonnegut, author of the modern classic Slaughter house-Five and various other novels, and William Faulkner, who formed a complete fictional spot referred to as the Yoknapatawha County as a backdrop for his novels.

Some other well-known personalities who have also had the bipolar depression are Winston Churchill, Edgar Allen Poe, Abbie Hoffman, Isaac Newton, Van Gogh and, Beethoven. The world would have been an entirely different place without these eminent personalities who had bipolar disorder.

Many such people have also written about their ailment. Most well known is Patty Duke, who wrote an extensive book on the topic of her ill health. Another famous person with bipolar depression who has written books on it is Kay Redfield Jamison, well-known psychologist. He wrote two books which includes a chronicle and a dissertation on the connection between creativity and the illness. Other than these many other persons have written many other well known books.

Many well-known people with bipolar depression have been posthumously identified to have had it. Many of them are presently stars and are believed to have been detected by their doctors. Margot Kidder, Linda Hamilton, Patty Duke, and Carrie Fisher are a few such actresses. Others are musicians which includes Ozzy Osbourne, Kurt Cobain, Trent Reznor of the famous Nine Inch Nails and Axel Rose.

Many of these celebrities are believed not to have had any idea that they had such a problem in them. It is considered that most of them believed the depression to be a part of their lives.

However, in today’s modern world, celebrities with such an illness have to go through a lot of stress during the period of depression and mood outbursts. The case of Kurt Cobain is one classic example which shows that leaving the disorder untreated can damage the life and carrier of the person to an extent beyond repair. Though many settle with therapies, many of them feel that use of medication will hinder their creativity.

Doctors today, feel that this is a very controversial and complex topic to debate upon and feel that the best solution is to diagnose the problem right in its early stage and make sure that the patient gets all the attention to make sure that he does not get extremely affected by this disorder.
