Range of User-friendly Features
LW Scientific Paragon Flex Arm stereoscopes have an aluminum alloy construction, and acid- and reagent-resistant finish. Although most models have some basic similarity in their features, they differ in dimesions. The important features of the Paragon FLEX-ARM 20X/40X (no light) model stereoscope include:
• Binocular head inclined 45°, rotates 360°
• Interpupillary distance adjustment 55-80 mm
• 30.5mm eye tube diameter
• Paragon: black and white reversible stage plate, 95 mm
• Helical rack & pinion focusing with tension adjustment and slip clutch
• Achiever: frosted glass stage plate, 75 mm diameter
• 1X/2X, 1X/3X, or 2X/4X paired objectives
• 10X/20 WF eyepieces
The Flex Arm stand in the different models is designed with spring-loaded hinge joints and friction adjustment capabilities. The equipment can hold any position and can be rotated to 360 degrees when not in use. The C-clamps of the device facilitate direct mounting on counter tops. High Power lenses, Boom Stand and Fiber Optic illumination are other useful features of advanced models of the device.
